2nd international school and conference for young researchers "Smart Nanosystems for Life"

Description

On December 10-13, the second international school and conference "Smart Nanosystems for Life" will be hosted as part of ITMO University's 120th anniversary celebrations.

The event will showcase the development of the practical applications of ITMO's foundational specialization areas, optics and optical materials science, in the modern methods of environmental monitoring, diagnostics and treatment of diseases using new nanostructured materials.

The program includes workshops on using state-of-the-art spectroscopy equipment, as well as presentations of the world's leading scientists in the field of nanostructure optics. Participants will also be able to listen to the reports by, and network with, the invited ITMO graduates leading successful research careers in Russia and abroad.

The reports presented at the conference can be consequently published in the Optics and Spectroscopy journal, which is indexed in Web of Science and Scopus.
