Scicomm Cocoa Talk №4. Vladimir Borisov: Communication in Technology – why is it important to maintain dialogue between business and academia?

The fourth online meeting organized by ITMO’s Center for Science Communication will take place at 7:30 pm on May 25.

We will talk with Vladimir Borisov, a PhD student at ITMO’s Faculty of Photonics and Optical Information and the winner of Science Slam, about communication between business and science. 

Why is it that science often fails at doing business and it’s rare for businesses to successfully collaborate with science? Why do we need to foster communication between academia and the information technology market? We will discuss all of these questions and more on Monday, May 25.
