Description
On December 8-9, the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2020 for young women in computing, tech, and science will be held online.
Perspektywy Women in Tech is a two-day summit full of insightful events: 50+ presentations by speakers from all over the world, 30 tech talks, 60 practical sessions on technology and soft skills, more than 200 sessions with mentors, as well as networking opportunities. Due to the epidemiological situation this year the summit goes fully online.
We will discuss the importance of innovation in challenging times, study cases from 3M, Google, and Facebook, as well as learn more about leadership in times of crisis and effective ways to help employees and manage enterprises during the pandemic. We will also focus on the future of AI and share our solutions to dealing with data security issues in an era of remote work.
The Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2020 will bring together the world’s largest companies such as Google, Facebook, Amazon, 3M, Disco, Huawei, Huawei, P&G, UBS, City, Nike, Accenture, Fujitsu, Ericsson, TomTom, PwC, as well as Polish tech companies, including those from the videogame industry.
The conference will be opened by Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education, and Youth, who has been fighting for greater representation of women in IT for many years now. Dr. Jennifer Widom, the first female dean of the Stanford School of Engineering, is going to be one of the speakers at the event.
Female students who will take part in the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2020 will receive extra points when applying for a participation grant for next year’s Summit in Warsaw.
