The delegation of representatives of enterprises and government institutions of China visited the NRU ITMO.

On 10 of October 2013, a delegation of representatives of enterprises and government institutions of China visited the NRU ITMO. The delegation consisted of representatives:

- from the China Electronic Technology Corporation: Hu Aymin, the deputy general manager, I Jian, the deputy head of the department; 

- from the China International trading company with limited liability under the E- Science and Technology: Zhao Ming, the chairman, Liu Jia, the head of the department;

- from the General Department of Defence Industry, Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the PRC: Huang Qiang, the deputy chief, Chen Wenfeng, the secretary, Simin Zhao, the head of the department, Zhao Ming, the deputy head of the department, Zhang Yuan, the head of the department;

- from the southern Chinese Industrial Group Corporation: Ne Syaofu, the deputy director, Guytszyun Chen, the secretary of the office, Wang Shaohuey, the deputy director;

- from the north Chinese Industrial Group Corporation: Wenmin Miao, the head of the department of strategy, Wang Jian, deputy head of the department;

- from 28 Research Institute of China Electronic Technology Corporation: Lan Yushi, the CEO;

- from China in the Russian Federation: Xie Chenshan, the representative of the Embassy of China in the Russian Federation, Wei Yuybin, the chairman of Corporation NORNICO in the Russian Federation. 

The visit was initiated by the Chinese side. 
The meeting was held in the site of Technology Park of the NRU ITMO, was attended by: V.O. Nikiforov, the vice president for research, A.A. Mack, the director of the Institute of Laser Physics "GOI naimed of S.I. Vavilov ", V.V. Korotaev , the dean of the Faculty of Optical Information Systems and Technology, the head the department of Optoelectronic Devices and Systems, S.K. Stafeev, the dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, the head of the department of Physics, V.P. Veyko, the head of the department of Laser Technology and Environment Instrument, B.P. Papchenko, the head of Laboratory of Space Optics and Technology, I.A. Konyahin, the professor of the department of Electro-Optical Devices and Systems, O.N. Rumyantseva, the head of international activities, A.I. Gleym, the head of the Laboratory of Quantum Informatics, A.A. Kolousov, the director of Technopark of the NRU ITMO and others.

The meeting included presentations of the NRU ITMO, scientific achievements of specialized departments. The talks on possible cooperation between ITMO and Chinese corporations were also held.

At the end of the meeting the delegation visited the Museum of Optics in the NRU ITMO.
