A delegation of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) will visit the ITMO University on May 16, 2014. The Chinese - Russian seminar "Products for special applications: achievements and prospects " will be held within the visit.
Visit of the HIT delegation has an extensive program. Guests from China will visit the laboratory of the Department of technology of meat products and cold preservation, laboratory of the Department of technology of milk and dairy products, as well as the International training centre of the bakery, located at the Institute of Refrigeration and Biotechnology of the ITMO University. Further representatives of the HIT and the ITMO University will participate in a roundtable discussion on scientific developments in the field of food products.
The key point of the program will be the Russian-Chinese seminar on problems of technology products for special applications. On the part of the Chinese delegation Ms. Jiang Hua, the director of the Institute of Food Science and Technology of HIT, executive director of the International Center of Higher Engineering Education Association of Technical Universities of Russia and China (ATURC), Professor Wang Zhenyu, the director of the Research Institute of Nutrition and Food Protection in extreme conditions of HIT, Prof. Lu Veyhun, the deputy director of the Research Institute of Nutrition and power protection in extreme conditions of HIT, are expected to perform.
The Russian side will be represented by scientists of Institute of Refrigeration and Biotechnology of the ITMO University, Institute of International Business and Law of the ITMO University, as well as representatives from the St. Petersburg State University of Trade and Economics.
Everybody is invited to participate.
