At the NewCo Helsinki Accelerator program young startupers took a training course and presented their projects. Mentors told the participants how to protect intellectual property and register a company in Europe. The best project will win funding for the development in the EU.
“Our activity includes meetings with representatives of the program where we discuss current issues. This month we are preparing for meetings with investors that will be held in September. During the two-month program we are going to attract investors, clients and partners,” said Vadim Kotenev, the chief marketing officer of the “Rehabot”.
The “Rehabot” team develops a mechanical glove for people hurt by an apoplectic attack in order to recover fine motor skills. “ChemLab” project, the other winner of the program, invented granules for plant cultivation in water-deficient areas. The “VeeRoute”, the best Russian startup project in 2014, is a logistics company, which aims at optimizing of cargo transportation.
St. Petersburg students got a chance to take part in this program after winning a contest of innovative projects in June 2015.
