“RehabGlove” is a smart trainer, which is used for post-stroke rehabilitation and after traumatic brain injuries in order to simplify health restoring process.
“The main principle of this glove is mechanotherapy. “RehabGlove” starts training when a patient cannot move a hand. It bends and unbends fingers stimulating muscle work,” said Vadim Kotenev, one of the inventors of the device.
“RehabGlove” has several working modes that are necessary for different rehabilitation phases: isolated finger exercises, strength training, and hand exercises. A rehabilitation program includes game-based trainings. It motivates patients. The main peculiarity of the development is a mobile application “RehabAssistant”, which navigates the glove. Thus it will be easier for a consulting physician to monitor results of a therapy and control rehabilitation process.
