Description
ITMO University is hosting a series of events held as part of the university’s award for achievement in education, with a goal of raising the status of the university’s academic staff and nominating the best lecturers and mentors.
ITMO Edu Awards 2023 offers two tracks: EduStars and EduLeaders.
EduStars
The EduStars track is open to all lecturers and mentors and doesn’t require an application. To participate in this track, you simply need to set your own high teaching standards, introduce innovative approaches into your practice, and be a leading mentor. This will automatically get you a place on the shortlist of nominees for the award!
EduLeaders
The ITMO.EduLeaders contest is aimed at ITMO lecturers who have successfully implemented their educational projects, such as new educational tools, new formats of interaction with students, online courses, and so on. The application deadline is January 31, 2023.
The initiative will culminate in May 2023 at ITMO Open Education – an award ceremony for the best lecturers and mentors who have earned their colleagues’ recognition and have proved to be high-class professionals, teachers, and innovators.
The contest includes four tracks:
Lecturers (for all lecturers);
Junior Lecturers (for lecturers whose teaching experience is less than or equal to three years);
Teams (for teaching and research staff working in teams);
Prospective Leaders (for teaching and research staff from other universities).
Winners in each of the categories will receive 250,000-ruble grants. Winners of the Prospective Leaders track will be able to implement their educational projects at ITMO University.
