A new exhibition at ROSPHOTO explores the evolution of color photography in Russia, from pioneering breakthroughs to cutting-edge technologies of today. At its heart is a replica of an invention by Sergey Prokudin-Gorsky, the pioneer of color photography in Russia; this unique setup allows one to experience early color images as they were in the 20th century.

Hans Grundig. On the 125th Anniversary of the Artist's Birth

For the first time since 1959, the works of 20th-century German artist Hans Grundig are back on display in Russia. The exhibition showcases the artist’s lifework with a collection of watercolors and portraits, graphic illustrations for classic fairy tales, as well as etchings and linocuts.
