April 29, 2014 in St. Petersburg the finals of the international competition on programming Kotlin Challenge, where students of the ITMO University won I and III place.
Competition Kotlin Challenge started on 16 of October 2013 and took place in three stages: the qualifying round, semifinals and finals . The competition participants performed various tasks using the programming language Kotlin.
In the first round of the semi-finals 220 programmers were selected. In the final of the competition, held in person, the best 23 participants from four countries were selected.
According to the results of the competition Gennady Korotkevich, the student of the University 2539 gr, won the first place. Third place was won by Boris Minayef from 3539 gr.
