Petr Gumennik opened the short program, performing a quad flip with a double toe loop, a quad Lutz, and a triple Axel, which brought him 86.72 points.

For his free skating program, Gumennik took to the ice 13th and performed a clean quad flip, a quad Lutz, a quad loop, a quad Salchow with a triple toe loop, a quad Salchow with two sequenced double Axels, and a triple Axel with a triple Lutz and double loop combo. The skater earned 184.49 points for his performance.

Petr Gumennik is a Russian figure skating champion, a multiple-time national medalist (silver and bronze), and a two-time winner of the Russian Grand Prix Final.
The athlete was actively supported on campus. The university’s student sports club KronBars organized a skating-viewing area for all fans at the coworking space Mediazone at the Lomonosova 9 campus. The skater’s fellow students watched the live stream of his performance and drew motivational posters.
Apart from studying, Petr Gumennik also holds workshops for the university’s skating club SkateMo. In them, he teaches students how to perform high-level technical elements at the Хоккейный город (Hokkeynyy Gorod) complex.
