Description

During his lecture, Professor Leonhardt will talk about how objects can become invisible. For the scientist it’s not science fiction anymore but a subject of research. The professor published his first work on metamaterials in 2006 in Science. Since then he’s been studying the nature of black holes, their connection to quantum physics and the general theory of relativity.

Dr. Leonhardt is a member of the Institute of Physics and the Royal Society of Edinburg, which has honored him with “Wolfson Research Merit Award” for his research in physics. His h-index is 30.

Students, young scientists, and faculty specializing in photonics and photoinformatics are invited to participate.
