Information Society and Technology Week 2019

Description

On June 19-22, the 2019 Information Society and Technology Week will be held in St. Petersburg. ITMO University will serve as the main organizer of the event. 

The program includes three major conferences in the field:

1. 22nd All-Russian Conference "Internet and Modern Society (IMS 2019)". Held in St. Petersburg annually since 1998, the conference encompasses a range of events (sections, discussions, round tables), including:

• Symposium of young scientists "Digital Transformations: Promising Socioeconomic and Humanities Research" – June 19;
• Workshop "Culture and Technologies" – June 19;
• International seminar "Cyberspace Culture Studies (CCS-2019)" – June 19;
• Scientific seminar "Digital Humanities in History of Science (DHHS-2019)" – June 22.

2. 4th International Conference "Digital Transformation & Global Society (DTGS 2019)", which will consist of a range of presentations and workshops, including:

• Computational Linguistics (CompLing-2019) – June 21-22;
• Internet Psychology (IntPsy-2019) – June 21-22.

The conference is organized by ITMO University together with Higher School of Economics.

3. 4th International Conference on Electronic Imaging and Visual Arts (EVA 2019). Held in English on June 20-21, the conference covers such topics as:

• Digital Humanities;
• Projects in the field of Art & Science;
• Projects using AR/VR/MR/XR technologies.
