On August 24-25, the TechTrain IT festival will take place at the St. Petersburg Expoforum. 

TechTrain is a large-scale festival for developers, engineers and all other IT enthusiasts out there. The festival brings together everyone who loves software development. Whether you are headlong into OOP or functionality, performance or development speed, TechTrain will provide you with great discussions with like-minded people, interesting projects and technological innovations ranging from VR and AR, new architectures, gadgets, and others. 

TechTrain in numbers:

  • 2018: 2,000 participants, 50 booths;
  • 2019: 4,000 participants, 100 booths.

Among the 2019 festival's speakers are:

  • Andrey Breslav, JetBrains;
  • Richard Stallman, founder of the free software movement and the GNU operating system;
  • John Romero, Romero Games, game-designer at Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Quake and Red Faction;
  • Grigory Bakunov, Yandex;
  • Ivan Yamshchikov, ABBYY, Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences, tech evangelist, AI researcher;
  • Sergey Abdulmanov, Mosigra, marketing director at Milfgard;
  • Pavel Pleskov, Point API.
