Open Lecture by Hadi Hariri with JetBrains

On October 30 ITMO University will host an open lecture by Hadi Hariri, head of the Developer Advocacy group at JetBrains. 

Organized especially for the St. Petersburg college students, this lecture is a rare opportunity to meet with an internationally acclaimed speaker in IT. It is aimed at anyone interested in the development of an international career in IT. 

Developer and creator of many things OSS, he has been programming in one way, shape or form since the age of 12. Author of various publications and courses, Hadi has been speaking at industry events for nearly two decades. He's also the host of Talking Kotlin, a podcast about a popular programming language developed by JetBrains. 

Hadi will share his experience in boosting personal effectiveness, talk about programming secrets and will answer questions.

Agenda:

6 pm - Representatives of JetBrains will talk about available internships for students.

6.15 pm - Lecture One. "Removing Barriers to Productivity."

7.15 pm - Lecture Two. "Kotlin for Functional Programming." 

Both lectures will be held in English.
