The Open Day for ITMO University's Art & Science Master's program will take place online on April 4.

Online Open Day is a great opportunity to find out more about ITMO University’s Art&Science Master’s program, and to get to know our students and speakers.

Art&Science Open Day’s timeline:

13:00 – General information on the Art&Science program

You’ll find out all about the subjects, the tracks, the opportunities, and the ways of applying.

13:25 – Master’s program as seen by its students

First- and second-year students will talk about their studies, projects, and plans for the future.

14:00 – “AI, Machines, Microorganisms. Does Art of the Future Need a Human?” discussion by the head of the program and the speakers.

Speakers:

• Ippolit Markelov – biologist, artist

• Yekaterina Nikitina – researcher in the field of posthumanism and animal studies

• Ildar Iakubov – media artist

• Natalia Fedorova – media poet, researcher of the linguistic media art.

Moderator:

Dimitri Ozerkov – head of the program and director of the Department of Contemporary Art at the State Hermitage Museum.
