+GoingYou'll be the first

The meeting with Robertina Sebjanic, an artist, winner of the Ars Electronica grand prize, and a professor at ITMO’s Art & Science Master’s program, will take place on January 19.

During a Zoom meeting, she will present her art projects focusing on the analysis of the cultural, biopolitical, and ecological realities of aquatic ecosystems.

The artist will also talk about her course called Aquaforming, based on an artistic study of the aquatic environment and the challenges posed to it by the Anthropocene epoch. The course includes working on art projects, which students will have the chance to present at the meeting.

Her work has been exhibited at various art venues and festivals: Ars Electronica (Linz), Kosmica Festival: Laboratorio Arte Alameda (Mexico City), Le Cube (Paris), Art Laboratory (Berlin), ZKM (Karlsruhe), re:publica (Berlin), Mladi Levi (Ljubljana), Eyebeam (New York City), PORTIZMIR#3 (Izmir), and others.
