Description

The Data Analytics and Management in Data Intensive Domains conference (DAMDID) will take place on October 4-7, 2022. This year, the event will be hosted by ITMO University, St. Petersburg.

The DAMDID 2022 is an interdisciplinary forum that will bring together researchers and practitioners with various scientific backgrounds with the goal of promoting cooperation and a fruitful exchange of ideas in data analytics and management in data intensive domains. Approaches to data analysis and management are developed within particular domains of X-informatics (astro-, bio-, chem-, geo-, medical, neuro-, physical, etc.), as well as social sciences and many others.

The conference’s primary aim is to accelerate research and improve its efficiency in terms of quality, outcomes, and competitiveness by enhancing the methods and facilities for data analysis and management in DID. The mutual complementarity of approaches in interdisciplinary DID is expected to help create a corporate culture summarizing data analysis methods and develop information systems applicable in diverse DID.

The four-day conference will include plenary talks by guest speakers and workshops by leading researchers, regular short reports on research results, as well as demo/poster sessions. The working language of the conference is English. One of the conference’s days will be devoted to a PhD Workshop for young scientists. A series of additional events, including seminars (both open and private) and invited sessions, will be held alongside the conference.

The selection of the reports for the conference is made through independent reviews by three members of the Program Committee. The Committee accepts work for presentations in the form of a scientific paper, a brief report, a poster, or a demo.
