Call for applications for academic exchange 2025

The call for international academic exchange in the spring semester of 2025 is now open!

There are more than 45 universities in 25 countries around the world to choose from! Students who pass the interview will be able to enter a competition for financial aid during their stay abroad.

You can see the complete list of ITMO’s partner universities here. Before applying for exchange, don’t forget to discuss your choice of universities with the head or coordinator of your program.

Who can participate

• Master’s students;

• Bachelor’s/Specialist’s students starting with their second year of studies.

How to apply

To participate in the semester exchange program, you need to submit your application via ISU using your @niuitmo.ru email address. You won’t be able to apply using a different email address.

You need to provide the following documents:

• a video CV; 

• proof of your proficiency in the language of instruction (at least B2).

The application deadline is September 20, 2:59 pm (GMT+3)

How to get financial support

Financial support is provided to students who have successfully passed the interview for academic exchange and won the competition for financial aid. To apply for the opportunity, you will also need to provide proof of your English language proficiency (or another language if it will be the official language of studies during your exchange semester). You can use a valid TOEFL, IELTS, or another international exam certificate or take a test at ITMO’s Foreign Language Training Center.
