Magnetic Resonance Imaging School 2023

On July 3-8, Magnetic Resonance Imaging School 2023 will take place at ITMO University. 

The program will cover the physical and engineering aspects of MRI. The school will be useful for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students, as well as for PhD students of physico-mathematical and engineering majors and practicing MRI engineers. 

The program of the school will include basic and advanced modules. 

As part of the basic module, participants will gain knowledge of the physical fundamentals of magnetic resonance and learn about MR tomography hardware. 

The advanced module will include lectures on modern engineering and methodological trends in the MRI field. In order to consolidate theoretical material, a lab class will be held at the end of each day so that all participants can acquire practical skills needed to model the work of MRI unit subsystems and data analysis. 

Students may apply to compete for a grant that covers all travel expenses and accomodation in St. Petersburg.
