Baltic Yachting Week 2019

St. Petersburg is known worldwide as the marine capital of Russia and this week, July 10-17, the city hosts one of the biggest sea festivals in Europe, Baltic Yachting Week. Held for the third time in the very heart of the city, near the walls of the Peter and Paul Fortress, the event features tours of the “Lady L”, “Hope”, and “Poltava” sailboats, as well as lectures and interviews with sailors, workshops on knotcraft and the basics of shipbuilding, the show of kitesurfers, a spectacular music and light show, and fireworks.

Classical Music Festival in Summer Garden

A truly magnificent place as it is, this Sunday, the Summer Garden will turn into a paradise for classical music aficionados. From midday to evening, the alleys of the garden will be filled with music written by St. Petersburg’s most renowned composers and performed by laureates of international music competitions.

Gamma Festival

Musicians and artists from 18 countries will come to the Northern Venice this weekend to participate in one of the country’s largest festivals of modern music and culture. Check it out to listen to experimental music, admire contemporary art installations by famous artists, and listen to lectures by coordinators of successful cultural projects and musical festivals. Among the headliners are Surgeon, Rafael Anton Irisarri, Samuel Kerridge, The Empire Line, The Exaltics, Bear Bones, Lay Low, Unbalance, to name but a few.

Summer Market by the Sea
