  • Force of Attraction: How to Promote Your Master’s Program and Attract Best Applicants

    What is the most efficient way to tell about a Master’s program to potential applicants? And what will help attract the best of them? These questions were at the center of the meeting “Force of attraction, or development strategy of an educational program”, which was organized for heads of educational programs by ITMO’s Master’s Programs Department in collaboration with the Strategic Communications Department as part of the ITMO.Expert project. Alyona Gupaisova, vice head of the Strategic Communications Department, Ksenia Kuzmina, head of the Master’s Programs Development Center, and Yuri Monahov, head of Master’s Admission Office, spoke about the tools for attracting applicants and things that one should consider when developing Master’s programs.

  • Quality of Admission to Universities Ranking 2019

    This year’s admissions at universities have long been completed and yesterday’s schoolchildren have already officially become students and are getting used to their new status. Meanwhile, on October 30, 2019, the results of the annual “Quality of Admission to Universities 2019” ranking were published by the Higher School of Economics and Yandex with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media. The ranking is aimed at assessing the quality of the admission campaigns for full-time Bachelor’s and specialty programs at Russian universities.

  • I Am a Professional: Over 80 ITMO Students Become Diplomates of National Student Competition

    The results of the 2019 national student competition “I am a Professional” have just been announced. From a total of 500,000 students from all over Russia participating in this year’s competition, 3,472 became prize winners. This roll call of participants with the best results includes 80 ITMO University students, five of whom were even awarded gold medals. Diplomates of “I am a Professional” get admission perks when applying to Master’s and PhD programs at Russia’s leading universities, as well as an opportunity to partake in an internship at major companies.

  • ‘I am a Professional’ National Student Competition Takes Off

    Today marks the start of the registration process for the ‘I am a Professional’ national competition for students. For a second year in a row, students from all over Russia can try their hand at the competition’s challenges in a bid to win an internship in a major company, a money prize, and easy access to Master’s and PhD degrees in leading Russian universities. This year’s competition consists of 54 tracks, five of which are coordinated by ITMO University.
