• “I Am a Professional”: Competition Winners on Experience Gained and Opportunities Discovered

  More than 90 students of ITMO University have been named winners of the national competition I Am a Professional, 19 of them receiving the top prize as medal winners. All of the students will not only gain renown, but also significant advantages when enrolling in Master’s and PhD programs of the competition’s partner universities, an opportunity to do an internship at some of Russia’s top companies, and a monetary prize of 100,000 to 300,000 rubles. • ITMO University and University of Lorraine Expand Opportunities for Student and Staff Mobility

  Starting from the new academic year, Master’s and PhD students at ITMO University will be given the opportunity to participate in academic exchanges and internships at the University of Lorraine (Université de Lorraine, UL), one of France’s largest and highest-rated universities. Moreover, ITMO and UL will be able to exchange professors who will give topical lectures on a wide range of subjects. Such an expansion of the mobility opportunities available has been made possible thanks to an Erasmus+ program grant. • Art & Science Students Present Projects for Upcoming Creative Center in Gatchina

  The site of the former Gatchina dairy plant will become home to the MOLZAVOD Center of Culture, Art, and Education as early as this summer. The project’s strategic goal is to showcase the synthesis of science and art, which is why its curators have invited students of ITMO University’s Art & Science Master’s Program for a summer internship during which they developed various project concepts for the future venue. Their ideas include an open school of science and art, an AR-quest, an exhibition of endangered relict plants, and more. Learn more in our report.
