• 9 Cool Summer Schools for Summer 2020

  Though summer feels like a lifetime away, a whole range of summer schools have already announced their enrollment dates for summer 2020. ITMO University students are invited to participate in an internship competition and get up to 70% of their expenses covered by the university. An application must be submitted at least a month prior to the trip, so right now it’s high time to familiarize yourself with the opportunities offered by ITMO University and read about the experiences of ITMO students (here and here) who have already taken part in such summer schools.

• Camp in Programming: Intense Problem-Solving

  The annual summer Camp in Programming welcomes students from all over the world who get hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge in programming and machine learning. This year, the challenge was accepted by students from Luxemburg, USA, Azerbaijan, Venezuela, China, India, and Russia. We caught up with some of them to talk about their experience here.

• Self-Driving Cars and Smart Cities: 2019 Summer Schools in Madrid

  Every year, dozens of universities both in Russia and abroad organize summer schools for students, which provide them with a unique opportunity to acquire new knowledge and familiarize themselves with a new culture. ITMO University students often take part in such events thanks to a student mobility program that covers up to 70% of all travel expenses. This year, several Bachelor’s and Master’s students went to the Technical University of Madrid, one of the biggest technical universities in Spain, where they attended lectures and worked in a laboratory.
