  • ITMO University Students at InnoCamp in Finland

    ITMO University offers its students a lot of opportunities for participation in international projects conducted together with the university’s partners. In April 2019, the first round of the InnoCamp project took place in Kouvola (Finland), during which Russian and Finnish students worked together on real-life cases and helped industrial companies develop their business strategies. However, the InnoCamp educational program doesn’t end there and will continue throughout the year.

    30 Under 30, a new annual ranking by Forbes Russia, has recently been published. Compiled by experts, this is a roll call of young visionaries aged under 30 years old and already enjoying national or international recognition among their professional community. The final shortlist of ten best-of-the-bests includes an ITMO University graduate, founder of the Motorica company Ilya Chekh, while the top-100 touts Artur Gleim, CEO of ITMO’s small innovative enterprise “Quantum Communications”.

    Steve Korshakov helped make a messenger for VK.com, won competitions set up by Telegram, and worked as a programmer for JetBrains. Yet what he considers his biggest achievement are the projects he developed on his own. Korshakov has founded half a dozen startups and acquired valuable experience through winning, losing, and partnering up with America’s top accelerator Y Combinator.
