  • ITMO Students Win Russian Information Security Competition OpenBonch 2022

    The team ITMO))) won the national information security cyberdrills OpenBonch 2022. Students from the Faculty of Secure Information Technologies were first to solve the task and earned 89/100 points, setting the competition’s record.

  • ITMO Team Shines at SPbSUT Competition in Information Security

    ITMO University’s students claimed first place in a cybersecurity contest organized by St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications (SPbSUT). All in all, 26 teams from the Northwestern Federal District participated in the competition. Having scored 96 out of 100, the ITMO team is now to compete at the national competition OpenBonch 2022 planned for this fall.

  • ITMO and Rostelecom Work on a Support Center of the National Cyber Testing Ground

    It will be the first support center in St. Petersburg and the fifth in Russia. The agreement was signed by Igor Lyapunov, vice president of Rostelecom in information security, and Vladimir Vasilyev, rector of ITMO University, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on June 4.

  • ITMO University Opens International Cybersecurity Center in St. Petersburg

    On May 14, ITMO launched the Safety and Security of Critical Information Technologies international research center. Here, students will receive practical training on dealing with cyber threats while working on real-life projects. At the launch, special training was held at the National Cyber Testing Ground, one the largest information security projects in Russia.
