  • ITMO Scientists Suggest New Method to Make More Adaptive and Autonomous Robots

    Scientists from ITMO have come up with a three-step algorithm for the development of manipulators and walking or wearable robots. Compared to the usual methods, the new approach results in lighter, more efficient, affordable, and compact mechanisms. Walking robots that can move without having a full map of their surroundings are just one example of the designs produced by the new method.   • Lighting Design Expert on Light in Culture

  • Neuroculture Lab Supported by ITMO Opens in St. Petersburg

  • SEE: Our Cities Project – Study Design Without Borders

    A total of 16 international schools of architecture and design from all over the world have joined their forces under the aegis of Thomas Jefferson University (USA) in order to create a digital course in urban design during the pandemic. Online learning allows students to enter programs from the world’s leading universities. The Creative Lighting Department of ITMO University is the first and so far the only Russian institution that joined the SEE: Our Cities project.
