ITMO Open Science

Description

On February 8, the Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art will host the ITMO Open Science, a conference chock-full of talks, workshops, and discussions on the latest in science.

ITMO Open Science is an innovative conference held in a completely new format, bringing prominent scientists, PhD researchers and students together to discuss, witness and participate in a large-scale show-and-tell featuring the latest developments in today's science, all within the walls of St. Petersburg's most eminent museum of contemporary art.

The program includes:

• Mega Battle, which will see ITMO schools share their yearly achievements, Science Slam style;
• Power Pitch, a series of short presentations on the most important and original accomplishments of each ITMO department;
• Future Now, a grand celebration of the University's key inventions and research results, presented in the form of electronic banners;
  
• Open Talk, an succession of open interviews held on a theater stage;
• Tours of the Erarta museum, one of the largest contemporary art museums in Russia. 

All ITMO University students and researchers are invited to take part.
