Description

We invite everyone interested in St. Petersburg’s future and the role of new technologies in the city’s development to take part in the Smart-Up BSR Virtual Camp, which will take place on 9-11 September 2020.

The event is held within the framework of an international project uniting the universities of the Baltic Sea countries. One of the goals of the Smart-Up BSR project is the development of grass-roots innovation and mutual learning to support local communities.

As part of the St. Petersburg virtual camp, teams consisting of international and Russian experts will work on complex solutions for three cases. All tasks are formulated by ITMO University specialists and aimed at discussing the problems of innovative development in St. Petersburg.

Working on case studies will allow you to exchange experience with foreign experts, learn more about the concept of a "smart city", prospects and problems of its implementation. At the end, each team will present their solution to an international jury.

Key features:

  • English is the official language of the event;
  • Webinars from Russian and international speakers;
  • Each team will be working on a unique case related to the development of St. Petersburg;
