The regular session “SumIT #7” kicked off at the end of April. 10 teams were selected from 100 applications for participation. For 12 weeks participants attended lectures, seminars and final meetings. All that time leading experts on venture market and entrepreneurs from the USA, Belgium, Finland and Russia consulted young startupers.

The “Demo Day” was the final meeting of the session “SumIT #7 ”.  The representatives of “Almaz Capital”, “Ideal Machine”, “SOBA” and other organizations took part in this event.  

Among the represented projects there were the translator job market “Globerland”, the software platform for international educational programs search  “StudyQA”, the application for business Instagram account promotion“Like Me Tender” and others.

“Visiting “Demo Day SumIT” and similar events one can realize that projects become more and more complicated. The number of candidates increases. Young entrepreneurs become more knowledgeable about principles of innovative business. So we have to adapt the study program to our students. Apart from basic course we give advanced classes on business model making in order to make startup school “SumIT” more effective,” said Andrey Sergeev, the head of “SumIT”.

The partners of the startup accelerator “SumIT” are the Russian Venture Company (RVC), a federal accelerator “GenerationS” and an international program “EURECA”.
