On 9 of April 2014 at the III All-Russian Congress of young scientists in the Reading Room of the library of the ITMO University the scientific-practical seminar-presentation «Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) - The world's leading professional association for the advancement of technology» will be held. The workshop will be devoted to the use of on-line electronic scholarly resources in the educational and scientific processes of modern technical university.
Judith Brady, the IEEE Regional Manager for Europe, Latin America and Japan and Andrei Sokolov, the regional representative of EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) in Russia are invited as speakers. They will acquaint students with the way of presentation of scientific research by Russian authors in electronic resources IEEE. Also, participants of the scientific workshop will learn about the information service of the Institute, the IEEE Digital Library and its updated on-line platform - IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
