Study Abroad at Home

Have you always been dreaming of studying abroad but couldn’t venture out? ITMO University invites you to do a test drive of the experience by taking part in the Study Abroad at Home contest, which allows you to take courses together with international students that are doing an exchange semester at ITMO. 

Benefits of the program: 

• Classes are held in English, including some by native speakers;
• Being part of an international group together with students from France, Germany, Denmark, Mexico, Belgium and other countries; 
• Module educational system;
• Certificate upon completion of the program. 

Each course is practice-oriented, which is why each student has a chance to work on a project during their studies. 

Disciplines of the 2020 fall semester (you can find course descriptions among the attachments below): 

• Intercultural Communication;
• Project Management;
• Innovation Systems: Russian Federation Development.

Requirements for participants: 

• All ITMO students are welcome to participate; 
• Each student can only take part in three elective courses (you can include three courses in your application in order of priority).

To take part in the contest you will need: 

• An application form;
• A letter of motivation in English (no more that 1 page);
• To take an interview in English.

The contest is held with two deadlines: September 3 and September 18, 2020. 

Each course can accept a limited number of students. Students, who will send their applications on September 4-18 will not be able to take part in the course in Intercultural Communication as well as any other course filled to maximum capacity after the first deadline. 

The courses will start in September/October 2020 online.
