Alfa-Bank coworking space
Kronverksky Pr. 49, main campus
If you think a coworking space is just some tables and couches, this place is about to prove you wrong. Here, we have a lecture hall along with a large area for solo and team work – the coworking space takes up over 400 square meters!
You can choose to sit at a desk, on a couch, or at a personal working space with a power outlet. The space can also easily accommodate group projects: it hosts meetings of student teams, open lectures, seminars, and workshops. Alfa-Bank experts come to the space to share their experience and talk about modern technologies and business.
By the way, this isn’t the first space by ITMO and Alfa-Bank: in 2025, the partners unveiled a high-tech classroom at the university. It’s equipped with all the necessary devices and can easily be transformed for various events – workshops, lectures, and seminars. The new space became an attraction point for students and experts.
Sberbank’s student coworking space
Grivtsova Ln. 14
In late 2025, a new coworking space by Sberbank opened at ITMO – its 700 square meters are ready to welcome 250 students and staff.
Its main advantage is the diversity of scenarios it can accommodate. There are spaces for solo work and meeting rooms for teams of up to 8 people. For those taking a break, there is a lounge area with comfortable armchairs.
What makes the space so versatile is modular furniture and Sberbank’s smart home technologies. In a single day, the space can house quiet study sessions, a lecture, a workshop, or a hackathon. It has already hosted career consultations, creative workshops, and even a concert.
Coworking space at the Student Services Office
Lomonosova St. 9, 4th floor
ITMO’s Student Services Office is a place that every student visits sooner or later – to pick up important paperwork or have a question answered. But there is another reason to get to the fourth floor: the coworking space.
Just take the elevator or stairs from the first floor to the fourth and turn left. Inside, you will find desks and booths you can book for events and presentations.
The space is open on weekdays from 9 am to 7 pm, which means it can be nicely integrated into your day in between classes. For example, you can resolve an issue at the Student Services Office, then continue working on your thesis or project.
Coworking space on Lomonosova campus
Lomonosova St. 9, bldg. M, room 1303
This coworking space has a superpower: it is open 24/7. So if the deadline strikes sooner than you’d like and you just can’t concentrate at home, now you know where you can go.
This space is located on the third floor, just below the Student Services Office. As usual, you can work solo or with a team or even hold a team meeting or event at a separate room (those can be booked in advance for time slots between 9 am and 9 pm).
KRONBARS Space
Lomonosova St. 9, 4th floor
If you want to get active after class, you don’t have to go far, too. On the fourth floor of the Lomonosova campus you can also find KronBars Space, the coworking space of ITMO’s KronBars student sports club.
This space is created to accommodate sports managers, coaches, and club members. To find KronBars Space, turn left after entering the building and follow the leopard footprints to the fourth floor. There, turn right and then right again – and you’re there! Yes, it’s a little quest, but you will get there easily if you follow the paws on the floor.
On a daily basis, the space is open from 8 am to 5 pm. It can also be booked for events between 5 pm and 10:45 pm on weekdays and from 10 am to 10:45 pm on weekends. Even if you aren’t a member of the club, it’s good to mark this point on your ITMO map: the university’s spaces keep getting more and more diverse. There is even a special space where you can work on a sports project!
