“We trained students by interviewing them both in Russian and English. Having analyzed their CVs skilled experts gave participants useful recommendations. It was a pilot version of the course that is why we thank active students who took part in it. Thanks to their motivation and efforts of the organizers, the first session of Careers Service was very fruitful,” said Dmitry Ruppel, head of Career Service Center of ITMO University.

Career Service Center aims to assist students and graduates with their job placement. Using personal oriented approach experienced HR experts explain how to prepare a CV as well as check the veracity of information.

Potential employers presented their companies and interviewed participants at the end of the session. The program also included the workshops and interactive lectures given by supervisors.

“I gained very useful knowledge. I appreciate supervisors for their experience and fair estimation of my opportunities.  I had no problems with my presentation. The interviewers noted that I did my personal presentation well,” said Nino Khavtasi, student of Department of Technological Management and Innovations.

The Course helped students to find a job. Already two graduates were offered positions. About ten participants also started following various internship programs.
