Hackathon at ITMO’s Faculty of Physics

Description

Don’t miss the chance to try on the role of a real scientist, win a cash prize, and, what is more, join ITMO’s Faculty of Physics as a staff member and work on an actual research project.

What to expect: 

For two days, teams will compete in solving tasks as part of research projects under the leadership of researchers from ITMO’s Faculty of Physics.

Prizes:

• First place – 50,000 rubles;
• Second place – 30,000 rubles;
• Third place – 10,000 rubles.

The most successful participants will be offered an opportunity to continue the project as a staff member of the faculty.

How to get there:

If you’d like to take part in the event but live far away from St. Petersburg, you can join the travel grant contest. Applications for the travel grant can be submitted by March 24.

Application deadline for the hackathon is April 7, 2024.
