AI Summer School for Young Scientists

AI Summer School for Young Scientists by ITMO’s Advanced Engineering School and AIRI is a 10-day deep dive into Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Participants will engage in lectures and meetings with leading scientists from AIRI, ITMO, MIPT, HSE, Skoltech, and other renowned research institutions and universities.

The school’s key topics include cutting-edge trends in AI. In 2024, the program will introduce the topic of Trusted AI, which will cover the main areas of training secure intelligent systems and AI cybersecurity.

The program’s focus fields:

• multimodal architectures;
• generative AI in industry;
• embodied AI models;
• AI and chemistry;
• reinforcement learning in robotics;
• Trusted AI.

Applications are open until July 14, 11:59 pm (GMT+3). The selection is based on CV, motivation letter, and research papers (if any). Estimated number of participants for 2024 is 80 people. Meals, accommodation, classes, and computational resources for solving practical tasks within the course are covered by the school.

Participants

Young scientists, Bachelor’s (2nd-4th year), Master’s, and PhD students pursuing degrees in natural sciences and engineering from Russian and international universities and educational institutions.
