Big Optical Symposium

Description

The program includes presentations by scientists from Russia, Germany, France, Great Britain, Iran, the Netherlands, Japan, etc, as well as panel discussions, "Magic of Light" exhibition, competition of student works and presentations by universities.

Topics to be covered include:

- optics and math

- optics, physics and chemistry

- optics and astronomy, astrophysics and cosmology

- optics and industry

- optics and innovations

- optics and the history of its structure

- optics and multi-dimensionality of light

- optics and philosophy

This year the symposium is supported for the first time by the Governor of St. Petersburg.
