In his lectures, the scientist will discuss the topical question of using carbon nanomaterials (such as graphene, carbon nanotubes, and graphene-filled composites) for developing new-generation electronic devices. He will also cover the electronic and optical properties of carbon nanomaterials.
The series will consist of the following lectures:
- Graphitic carbon, diamond, fullerenes;
- Carbon Nanotubes;
- Graphene;
- Nanodiamonds;
- Chemistry of carbon nanomaterials;
- Composites with the carbon nanomaterials;
- High resolution microscopy methods;
- Electron microscopy methods: TEM, SEM, STEM;
- Optical properties of carbon nanomaterials;
- Electronic structure of carbon nanomaterials.
The lectures will be held from 3.30 to 5.30 pm on Tuesdays starting from November 27 at ITMO University.
