FLEISCH Exhibition

+GoingYou'll be the first

Description

On July 5-17, New Holland Island is hosting a dazzling display of new works created by the students of ITMO’s Art & Science Center. The event is organized by the graduates of the Curatorial Studies Master’s program of the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences, St. Petersburg State University.

FLEISCH (“body”, “flesh” in German) explores the limits of the human body and its potential using the language of art: while some artists broaden their capabilities by means of science and technology, others analyze their bodily experience through painting and drawing.

The exhibition puts on display a collection of interactive and immersive installations, wearable devices, graphics, video poetry, and performances that help visitors immerse themselves wholeheartedly in the souls of creators and their intimate thoughts.
