Techarena Challenge 2022 Hackathon

Description

We invite you to take part in a new challenge by TECHARENA, the lead partner of the Information Technologies and Programming Faculty.

At the hackathon, you will:

• Solve a cartographic search challenge;
• Process location requests presented as polygons on a plane;
• Find all the buildings inside each polygon.

The hackathon will run as a 5-hour round on Codeforces. The participants will compete in pairs, so find a fellow partner in advance. Code must be written in C++. Solutions will be checked in open tests.

Don’t forget to bring your laptop.

The winners will be awarded a laptop and 300,000 rubles (first place), a smart-watch (second place), and a set of headphones (fourth and fifth places). All the participants who submit their answers will receive merch and souvenirs. As part of the event, there’s a lecture from a partner, a coffee break, lunch and dinner, a task review, and an awards ceremony!
