Video game console exhibition

On August 15-31, the A.S. Popov Central Museum of Communications will be hosting an exhibition of video game consoles, where both retro and modern gamers will be able to learn more about the evolution of the game industry. Every exhibit, from the USSR Electronica to Nintendo Wii, is interactive, so visitors will be able to have a hands-on experience.

The exhibition is co-curated by Anton Rutskoy, a second-year student of ITMO’s Science Communication Master's program.

The museum is located on Pochtamtskiy Pereulok 4, near the Admiralteyskaya metro station. You can purchase a ticket online or on-site. The museum offers student discounts.

If you want to assist or volunteer at the exhibition, contact the museum’s staff via their VK page or by calling +7 (921) 650-99-38.

The exhibition will be of interest to veteran gamers and enthusiasts striving to dive deep into the history of the video game industry.
