Cognitive Calculations Student Hackathon

Description

A team must consists of one instructor (a captain) who will come up with an idea for a student project and up to five students.

The program includes:

April 15 

10 am - registration

10:30 - 1:30 pm - introduction to IBM Bluemix

- introduction to IBM Watson

- introduction to IBM Bluemix

- introduction to Watson Developer c

April 16

10:30 - 4 pm - working with IBM Bluemix on team projects

April 17

10:30 - 4 pm - project presentations

Requirements:

-          a laptop computer that connects to Wi-Fi (provided by ITMO U)

-          A trial account in Bluemix. Testing the platform and learning more about it ahead of time is recommended.

-          No experience in necessary for work in Note-Red but users of Node.js, Express or Python/Flask or Python/Django will have advantages.

The participants will receive an IBM Bluemix certificate.
