Description
April 15, 2019 marks the start of AR-Craft, a contest for beginner developers of augmented reality apps.
Student teams (up to five people) from St. Petersburg universities are invited to take part.
Their task will be to develop apps using smart augmented reality glasses Epson Moverio. The apps should be intended for enhancing the museum-going experience, interacting with museum visitors and objects on display; the developers are encouraged to use their imagination to the max. The finished apps will be used by and at the State Hermitage Museum.
Winners will be awarded valuable prizes courtesy of Epson, such as Epson Moverio AR glasses, home cinema projectors and other devices.
Timeline of the contest:
- April 15 - May 14, 2019: registration of participants;
- May 15 - October 20, 2019: project work.
