The Generation S accelerator fuses together Russia’s best specialists in business projects. It is supported by the Ministry of Economic Development; its partners are SAP, Raiffeisen Bank, QIWI, VISA, IBM, VTB24, Rostelecom and other companies looking for new technologies. That is why young businessmen who take part in the project can easily find investors, make useful contacts and launch their project with the assistance of industrial partners.
Participating in a one-week preparatory session called "Storm of Ideas at the See," applicants will attend seminars by ITMO University’s experts as well as representatives from several technological companies. The classes will be devoted to marketing strategies, ways of communications with clients and partners, market trends in various fields. The final event of the training program will be the Innovative Ecosystem Forum at which participants will present their projects and talk to experts.
The projects presented by participants of the preparatory acceleration program can be applied to energetics, agriculture, smart urban technologies, finances, apps, design and fashion, IT services and medicine as well.
"Our University supports innovative activities in different regions of Russia. Our educational program in Sochi aims to develop economics and solve social issues. There are such projects as a service for protecting life, health and property, and also robotic devices for producing energy-saving glass and metal ceramics. About 20 teams take part in the program; we have one week to choose the best ones. Currently one of the most relevant topics are legal protection and intellectual property management," noted Nina Yanykina, Head of the Project Management and Innovation Department.
