• ITMO Graduate Vladislav Tankov on the Importance of Life-Long Learning

  Vladislav Tankov decided to pursue his Master’s degree at ITMO University when he was already a quite successful specialist at JetBrains. At one of the hackathons, which was part of ITMO and JetBrains’ joint program on software engineering, he developed a plug-in for checking errors in texts within the IntelliJ IDEA environment. After graduation, Vladislav headed a development team at JetBrains for the full-fledged Grazie platform that had grown out of the plug-in. ITMO.NEWS talked to Vladislav Tankov to learn more about the importance of Master’s degrees for current employees and the advantages of studying combinatorics and mathematical analysis.
