• Selectel to Invest Over 1 Billion Rubles Into Joint AI Service Enterprise with ITMO

  Selectel, Russia’s largest independent IT infrastructure provider, and ITMO University have announced the launch of a joint enterprise for AI services development. Selectel is expected to invest over 1 billion rubles into the project.

• Scientists at ITMO University and Sberbank Develop Multi-Agent AI System for Rapid Development of Medical Products

  Researchers from ITMO University, with support from scientists at Sberbank’s Practical AI Center, have devised a multi-agent system for identification of new drug molecules. Not only does the model generate new molecules virtually, but it also entirely automates the process of searching for and selecting them. The program operates with high accuracy – nearly 80% of the molecules proposed by the system meet the criteria set by scientists. The developers have already tested the system and used it to generate molecules that may contribute to the development of treatments for Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases, lung cancer, and other health disorders. The researchers presented their results at the EMNLP 2025 conference in China.
