• ITMO University to Digitize Local Archives

  ITMO researchers have set out to develop intelligent services to process historical records for St. Petersburg’s Archive Committee. The tools will recognize handwritten and printed texts, structure archival data, enable semantic search, and perform optical diagnostics of fragile originals to prevent any damage. The corresponding agreement was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2026.
