• VDHAKATON Finals at ITMO: Winners Receive 1 Million Rubles for Transglutaminase Analog

  VDHAKATON2024, a hackathon focused on the development of innovative products for businesses, has concluded at ITMO University. Over six months, Master’s students of ITMO’s Faculty of Biotechnologies worked on business cases with experts from 11 international and Russian companies. Students presented their MVPs (minimally viable products) at the final day of the hackathon. The first prize was awarded for a transglutaminase analog designed to help sausages retain their shape; the team working on the Edvanta case received 1 million rubles.
