METANANO School on Nanophotonics and Advanced Materials

ITMO’s Faculty of Physics invites you to join the METANANO School on Nanophotonics and Advanced Materials, which will take place in Qingdao, China, from October 13 to 26.

The school will be held in two stages: 

• October 13-19 – lectures and workshops;

• October 19-26 – practical activities.

The school will bring together researchers, students, and industry professionals to discuss the most recent advances in nanophotonics and innovative materials. The program will include lectures, workshops, and poster sessions on a variety of topics, including:  

• all-dielectric nanophotonics;

• advanced materials for photonics;

• chiral and bianisotropic metasurfaces;

• perovskite nanophotonics

• bound states in the continuum;

• nanolasers;

• advanced nanofabrication techniques;

• mie-tronics;

• wireless power transfer;

• microwave metamaterials.
