The International Scientific School "Fundamental and applied problems of reliability and diagnostics of machines and mechanisms".

From 21 to 25 of October in St. Petersburg the eleventh session of the International Scientific School "Fundamental and applied problems of reliability and diagnostics of machines and mechanisms» (VPB- 13) will be held. The organizers traditionally are the NRU ITMO and the Institute of Problems of Mechanical Engineering in the Russian Academy of Sciences (IPM RAS).

The plenary session will be held at 11 am on 22 of October in the Assembly Hall of the IPM RAS (Bolshoy pr, 61). Workshops will be held on 23 and 24 of October in the main building of the NRU ITMO (Kronverksky, 49) in the departments of Mechatronics and Instrument Technology.

The main research areas of the School are focused on issues of development of mechatronic and biomechatronic devices, prediction of metrological reliability of measuring instruments, improvement of measurement technology and modeling technology and degradation processes. On 24 of October the International School of Biomechatronics will be held as a part of the School.
